We take you across the forests of North Shore for a visit to the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. Only 5 ft wide and 450 ft long it sways 230 ft above the Capilano River. On the other side awaits you an ecological reserve and the Treetop Adventure, a walk on a 100 ft high scaffold along the enormous trunks of giant Douglas fir trees. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is also home to the largest private collection of artistically carved totem poles, an art form that is unique to the First Nations on the Pacific Coast. Native dances are held here daily throughout the summer.
