However, getting there is a four-hour overland journey by motor coach and by ferry through some of British Columbia’s spectacular scenery. Victorians have a passion for gardens, golfing, and greenery – and for civility. British influence is reflected in the shops along Government Street where you can hunt for linens, china, antiques, and woolens. Dozens of tearooms offer afternoon tea with cream puffs and dainty sandwiches.
Your adventure highlights some of this region’s best features. Sail aboard a local ferry along the rugged coastline and past the Southern Gulf Islands before arriving on Vancouver Island. Continue your journey into Victoria’s downtown where you can stroll the cobblestone streets, and explore the Inner Harbour. Visit the many boutique shops, museums, and restaurants surrounded by picturesque architecture. Ask your guide for their favorite spots to grab lunch.

Start this full-day excursion with an awe-inspiring 35-minute seaplane flight to Vancouver Island with stunning aerial views of Vancouver, the Gulf Islands, and the Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
You will be greeted in your hotel lobby on the morning of your tour by one of our tour guides and will be driven to your seaplane flight. We will provide you with a map of Victoria, as well as directions on where to meet your guide in Victoria. Your morning guide will be there to answer any last minute questions you may have, or to give you advice on what to see and do in Victoria!
Your flight departs from Vancouver’s Coal Harbour, and you will fly south over the Strait of Georgia towards Victoria. Soak in the sights of the beautiful Southern Gulf Islands and surrounding waters before your seaplane lands in Victoria’s Inner Harbour. You will arrive in Victoria a couple of hours earlier than the rest of your tour group, so start your free time in Victoria right away! Visit sights such as the Royal BC Museum, Fisherman’s Wharf, or have Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont Empress (reservations required).
Join your Tour Guide later that afternoon for your return drive home by mini-coach. From here, we will drive to the world famous Butchart Gardens where you can enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful family estate gardens. From the gardens, the bus takes you directly onto the ferry. You will return to Vancouver by about 9:00 pm. This full-day trip to Victoria will be a trip you won’t soon forget!

ONE piece of government-issued photo ID

TWO pieces of government-issued ID without a photograph, one must have passenger’s name, date of birth and gender.
Suggested Clothing: Comfortable clothing for the day including a warm shirt or outer layer. Walking shoes recommended.
